Murray Westerberg leads Borea’s construction operations across Western Canada, bringing more than two decades of experience in renewable energy and heavy civil construction. Combining operational expertise with strategic business leadership, he has played a key role in building and growing specialized teams while supporting the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure across the country. Throughout his career, he has been involved in more than 25 large-scale projects and has led the construction of over 1,500 MW of wind energy and 30 MW of solar generation capacity, from development through commissioning. Known for his ability to unite teams around a common goal, Murray is recognized for delivering complex projects with discipline, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety. His leadership continues to help advance Canada’s clean energy future while fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.
